National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children

On September 8, 2018, solemn prayer services will be held simultaneously at gravesites around the country where abortion victims have been buried, as well as at many other memorial sites dedicated to their honor.  Locally, there will be a memorial service 11:00a.m.-12:30p.m. at the Memorial Wall for the Unborn, in Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery 6739 S. Boulder Rd., where more than 5000 aborted babies are buried.  The ceremony will include talks from local speakers, peaceful prayer, and hymns to commemorate the lives lost to the tragedy of abortion.

Our Mission

The Respect Life office champions Church teachings regarding the sanctity of all human life.

We educate and inspire youth and adults throughout Northern Colorado with age - appropriate presentations on life issues. We seek to transform our state into a place where every human being is valued and protected from the moment of their conception until natural death.

  • We provide consultation to and collaboration with parishes, educational, and health institutions
  • We train pastoral leaders on all life issues
  • We serve as a resource and referral network for specific inquiries
  • We introduce pro-life issues into catechetical forums for adults
  • We serve as a resource network for those seeking information on specialized issues within the prolife spectrum

The Continuum of Care

“Defending and protecting every human life – from the newly conceived embryo in the womb to the suffering elder in hospice – and everyone in between.”

~ Larry Smith, CEO Catholic Charities Denver

"…the very right to life is being denied or trampled upon, especially at the more significant moments of existence: the moment of birth and the moment of death.”

~ St. John Paul II, Evangelium Vitae no. 18
