RESPECT LIFE DENVER ACTION ALERTS
This proposed ballot initiative to end late-term abortion in Colorado is very close to being approved for the Nov. 3 ballot. Nearly 10,000 additional signatures of registered Colorado voters will be needed in May. Respect Life Denver is recruiting volunteers to help in that effort and other aspects of the ongoing campaign. Sign up by region at this link, and we'll be in touch soon. Here's a link to a Denver Catholic story with the latest.
PRAYER IN THE SQUARE
Given Colorado restrictions on public gatherings amid COVID-19, we at Respect Life Denver encourage everyone to pray a rosary — wherever you are — at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 2. There will be no formal Prayer in the Square gatherings that day. Please pray the Joyful Mysteries, and a Divine Mercy Chaplet, for the defense of life (including the success of Initiative 120), for religious liberty and for the healing of all those battling COVID-19, as well as the protection of all medical workers and emergency personnel.
40 DAYS FOR LIFE
We are sad to inform you that we have decided to end the public vigil of the 40 Days for Life campaign in Denver, given the decision by national 40 Days for Life to end the public campaign due to COVID-19. Instead, we highly encourage you to keep praying from home for an "End of Abortion."
